Custom Kilts!
I’m a member, and big fan, of a certain international civic organization. While this is not an officially endorsed project, I drew inspiration from my friends in the organization and the colors most closely associated with it to come up with this tartan design and project.
You can be part of this project too! I am working with USA Kilts, to get this tartan custom woven in an 11 oz Polyviscose (PV) material, and then custom made into kilts, dresses, and accessories for those of us that love service and love Kilts! I opted to go with the PV over the traditional wool kilt for a couple reasons. PV is cheaper, it is durable, stain resistant, and machine washable. You will still get an amazing looking piece of clothing, but you won’t be terrified of ruining it with a runaway coffee!

Measuring Instructions
If you have never worn a kilt before, they wear different than normal pants. Kilts are traditionally worn higher up around the navel, and the size of your kilt is based on your actual measurement in inches, not your pant size. USA Kilts has excellent measuring instructions that can be found here.
Pricing
Since we are having this tartan custom woven for us, the prices will vary depending on how many people we have sign up. I have listed some estimated prices below, but keep in mind that this is subject to change. Orders will close on Dec. 20th, 2024, and all payments must be made by January 1, 2025. Payment instructions will follow.*
The Casual kilt is a great budget-friendly kilt for those who want to join the fun, without breaking the bank. It has a velcro closure instead of a leather buckle, and is made with less fabric. Don’t let that deter you thought. I have 3 and I love them!
Price: ~ $275-300
The Semi Traditional is a big step up from the casual kilt. Leather Buckle closure, more pleats and more fabric. This is a solid kilt and will serve you well.
Price: ~$400
An elegant option in a longer cut while still maintaining the traditional pleats of a kilted skirt.
Price: ~ $330
The Midi Kilt is more in line with a traditional mens kilt, landing around the knee. Modest, comfortable, and beautiful.
Price: ~$300
Accessories Package
If you want to fully accessorize your kilt, you can opt for this package. It comes with: Hose (Socks) in a grey/blue color, Matching Tartan Flashes, Black Leather Kilt Belt, Kilt Belt Buckle, Kilt Pin and an economy day sporran.

Extra’s and Fabric
If you are not up for a kilt yet, you can also order a tie in this tartan, Fly Tartan, Serape, poncho, Shawl, or just some fabric by the yard.

More accurate pricing will come as we get folks signed up!
